| Snow and Ice Impact Holiday Travel ... lanes Friday night, from exit 17 in Franklin to exit 14 in Plainville, in order to treat the icy conditions. The lanes were later reopened after crews finished sanding and salting the roadway. The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for much of Massachusetts and Connecticut.
