| Police: Man found dead in trash bin apparently froze The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that police say the 54-year-old man was found dead late Monday. The bin was near a former brewery that has been transformed into apartments. Police say firefighters were in the area on an unrelated call when they were told that a body appeared to be in the bin.

| Police kill man who they saw chasing, shooting at wife EDGEWATER, Fla. (AP) — Police in Florida fatally shot a man who they say was chasing and shooting at his wife. Edgewater police spokesman Joe Mahoney said officers responded to reports of a shooting Monday night and saw 65-year-old Gary Johns chasing his wife, 58-year-old Karen Johns.
